Professional services
Site surveys:
RNS conducts site surveys in any terrain and under any environmental conditions in all areas of operation. Comprehensive site survey reports are compiled and most often form the basis for consultation, quotation and technical solutions.
Consulting:
The RNS engineers are trained to understand the customer’s requirement and provide professional advice for any wireless scenario. Quotations and tenders are completed with care to provide the best technical solution with the lowest Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and the lowest life cycle cost, yet meeting all customers, environmental and technical requirements.
Design:
Many years of applied expertise, experience, and technology and product knowledge enable the internationally certified RNS engineers to design the best solution. Advanced in-house developed simulation design and prediction models are utilised.
Engineering services
Product Supply:
RNS supplies all required products and systems to the construction site. Warehousing and pre-fabrication of systems takes place where necessary.
Implementation:
RNS implements all accepted wireless solutions either by themselves or by trained, certified and reliable contract partners in all geographical areas of operation.
Project Management:
All implementations are project managed with clear documentation for deliverables, time lines and responsibilities. Product supply and project progress is monitored throughout the implementation phase.
Testing:
After completion of any solution implementation RNS tests the solution and hands over the working system to the customer or to the responsible support organisation. The test equipment conforms to local and international standards and is regularly calibrated to provide accurate test results.
Verification Testing:
Verification testing: After project implementation RNS verifies the implemented solution against the design model and provides proof to the customer for the desired radio coverage.
Support services
Maintenance:
Depending on the support requirements of the customer, RNS can enter into Service Level Agreements and will maintain the implemented solution either by themselves or by an appointed service contract partner.
Site Monitoring:
All of the RNS deployed sites can be remotely monitored from our offices in Johannesburg allowing us to keep ahead of any potential service effecting faults before they happen and thus ensuring continuous connectivity.
Training:
If required, RNS will train the customer or its representative on all technical and operational issues of the implemented solution.
Management services
Maintenance:
Depending on the support requirements of the customer, RNS can enter into Service Level Agreements and will maintain the implemented solution either by themselves or by an appointed service contract partner.
Logistic Management:
RNS can provide logistical plans for spare part holding, replacements, scheduled upgrades, response times and responsibilities.
